The chalets have easy access to the piste. It is about 50m over a footbridge from the end of carpark to the piste. You can ski back to the car park. Ski hire, supermarket (Proxi) and bakery are all within 5 minutes walk. The free Navette (bus service) runs every 20min into the village centre and beyond with more shops and a butchers. The centre is a 20 minute walk if you prefer. Berengere and Maxine from Chalets Lezami were always helpful and dealt with our queries promptly. As requested we had phoned in advance and we were greeted in the carpark and quickly shown to our parking. Admin was quickly dealt with and were were able to settle into the apartment in just a few minutes. On departure the final checks and refund of deposit were completed in a few minutes and we were able to leave on schedule. The apartment was well equipped, with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery for the group. We would have liked a teapot (a very British request I know). Cots and high chair were provided as requested at booking. The large balcony was a sun trap in the day and some days we were able to sit outside for lunch, with views of the piste and valley. Families in neighbouring chalets were friendly and helpful. We skied everyday. There are a range of pistes in St Sorlin if you wish to remain local, and good access to the Sybelles area if you wish to ski further afield. The snow was in good condition, excellent at altitude, with a couple of low altitude pistes in Corbier and St Jean a little slushy (we visited in Feb). The chalet provided an excellent base for an enjoyable holiday.
