Val Thorens falls under the Les Trois Vallées region. This region consists of more than 600 kilometres of slopes, making it one of the largest interconnected ski areas in the world. Due to its high elevation, you can ski there from November until mid-May.

At the end of 2022, a brand new sports and wellness centre will open in Val Thorens, called Le Board. This place is in honour of the 50th anniversary of Val Thorens and has a lot to offer. You will find several swimming pools, relaxation areas, sports facilities, a fun park, a wellness area, and a gym.
