The ski lift and ski slope are approximately 600 meters from the hotel. The centre can be found at approximately 200 meters. After skiing, you can relax in the lounge bar and in the restaurant a delicious 5-course dinner is served. 12Alta Badia is a wonderful ski resort with beautidul scenery and good pistes. The ski resort is located in South Tirol, Italy. The ski resort is large with approximately 131km of slopes, which makes it an excellent location for ski tours. The pistes are maintained well and the queues are small at the lifts.
Alta Badia is a good ski resort for families with children. There are many charming ski-huts on and next to the pistes and the possibilities for ski tours is ample. Corvara is the largest town in this area.
Colfosco, Corvara, La Valle, La Villa, Pedraces and San Cassiano are all part of this large ski resort and the 51 ski lifts connect the villages to each other. Even though it is not common knowledge, this ski resort together with the Sella Ronda and Cortina d’Ampezzo is one of the largest ski resorts of the whole of Europe.
For a fascinating ski tour, we recommend skiing around the Sella Ronda. This tour takes you around the 4 valleys of the “Sella massif” and takes approximately 4 hours to complete. The valleys are connected through various lifts and pistes and the tour is approximately 40km long. You can either do this tour clockwise or anti-clockwise. The recommended skiing level is intermediate to advanced.
