    The former mining town of Schladming in Austria is steeped in history and dates all the way back to the middle ages. There are over 30 restaurants in the centre and plenty of bars to fulfil your après-skis needs, including one of the biggest après-ski bars in Europe, Hohenhaus Tenne.

The ski area of Schladmning-Dachstein boasts approximately 232km of pistes for both the beginner and the advanced skiers making Schladming ski holidays ideal for everyone.  The highest point in this area is 2700m and, for those who want to try cross-country skiing, there is also 230km of tracks to be explored.
