One of the highest ski resorts in the Zillertal

Ski holidays in Gerlos are among one of the most popular destinations in Austria for British winter holiday goers, and not without good reason. The pinnacle of the a ski holiday in Gerlos comes in the form of the longest toboggan run in the Zillertal. You ascend the Gerlossteinbahn to the top of the run at 1650m high and then the fun begins. Plus, the toboggan run is heavily lit until 1am, meaning you’ll be able to experience it pretty much all day.

The Zillertal Arena

The Zillertal Arena is a beautiful winter sports area with excellent transport links making it easy to travel from village to village and explore the entire area. There is something for everyone when on a ski holiday in the Zillertal Arena with a range of slopes with different difficulty levels. 

Dorfbahn

The modern Dorfbahn was opened in 2016 and has come to improve the overall experience for holiday goers on a ski holiday in Gerlos. Waiting in line at the Isskogel just outside of town has become a thing of the past due to the huge capacity of the new ski lift. The three-storey valley station is equipped with a sports shop, ski rental shop, a modern and comfortable ski depot where you can store your skis overnight and a parking garage for over 200 cars.
