Montgenevre is a village with quite a  history. In 1936, it became the first resort to have a lift and since then, there have been many enthusiasts enjoying this beautiful area. In the 70s and 80s, there was an enormous amount of new developments, however the ancient and charming village center is still intact. Right on the Italian boarder and because of its location on a southern slope, the village is also very sunny!
