Risoul ski resort is located in the French Alps, with a beautiful view of Mont Pelvoux and the Massif des Ecrins. This ski resort is covered with trees, which makes for breath-taking surroundings. Risoul is located at an altitude of 1850 metres and offers 85 km of slopes to ski down. It is a quiet and comfortable place to spend your skiing holiday. There is something for everyone there, whether you are an advanced skier or a beginner. A zone has been set up especially for beginners who want to learn how to ski. Already feel at home on skis? There’s plenty of more challenging slopes available too.
Risoul is known as a family resort and the little ones amongst us are certainly not forgotten. For example, many activities are often organised so that children can develop their skiing skills whilst having fun and getting some fresh air in the snowy mountains. There is also a day-care available where they will be fully entertained.
Of course, snowboarders will also have plenty to do. They can let off steam in Surfland, the largest snow park in Europe and an absolute paradise for snowboarders, with a fun park and an illuminated half-pipe. But it’s not just snowboarders who can enjoy themselves there, as there is something for everyone to do or see.
The après-ski scene is best experienced at La Grotte du Yeti. Alternatively, you could spend some time after skiing going tobogganing, snowshoeing, snow biking, or just relaxing in a spa. You’ll be spoilt for choice!
