The chalet was brilliant! There were 7 of us staying in the chalet and it was the best ski property we’ve ever rented as a group. 4 bedrooms, and every room had its own bathroom with shower and toilet, so that was fantastic. The boot room and massive garage also gave us so much extra space to store our equipment. The living space was also huge, with a good size kitchen, sofas and dining room table.

according to our booking information we would be required to pay a tourist tax on arrival which was indicated at 1 euro per night on the invoice but when we got to the booking agency for the keys I was presented with a tourist tax invoice of 246 euros somewhat massively different to the 63 euros i was expecting according to paperwork from Sunweb, this difference is massive & unfair/misleading to the actual overall cost of the holiday, I argued with agency that this must be incorrect as look what is on my invoice but they said tourist tax per night in France had ceased 3 years ago & it is purely based on the property type & size & the agency also said they had informed Sunweb that many customers have queried the completely different amount of tax to what is on the paperwork & that the statement of tax per night does not exist anymore, please find attached a copy of my invoice I had to pay before they would release the keys to me, I have booked with Sunweb for many years now & never been disappointed like this before as this was such a huge difference in cost from what we expected we could have looked for cheaper alternative accommodation
